These Electrolux dishwasher error codes are very helpful at helping to diagnose the problem with your dishwasher. Note down the error code that your machine is displaying and have a read of the description of the fault down bellow.
Electrolux Dishwasher i10 Error – Water Inlet Fault
Description:
Electrolux dishwasher i10 error is a water inlet fault.
This mainly means that the dishwasher is not filling with water.
Sometimes it could be a clogged or faulty pressure sensor/switch which is not getting a reading that there is water filling into the dishwasher and giving a false water inlet fault.
Action To Take:
1. Check that the tap is turned on and there is not kinks in the inlet hose.
2. Check screen mesh filter in water valve and sometimes at the start of the hose for blockages.
3. Clean/Replace pressure switch.
4. Replace water valve.
Electrolux Dishwasher i20 Error – Drain Fault
Description:
Electrolux dishwasher i20 error is a draining fault. This means the dishwasher was not able to drain the water.
This error can be caused by a few things.
Firstly it could be a simple issue such as a blocked filter, blockage in drain pump or hoses. Also the error i20 could be a false error that could be caused by a blocked pressure chamber or tube that is not releasing the pressure and making the pressure sensor think there is water still present in the dishwasher, if your dishwasher is empty and it comes up with i20 then it could be a blocked pressure sensor. I20 error is one of the most common Electrolux dishwasher error codes to appear. To prevent the frequency of the i20 error code, once a month run the dishwasher empty with a dishwasher tablet. And make sure to clean the filters very frequently.
Action To Take:
1. Clean filters.
2. Check for foreign objects in pump and hoses.
3. Check resistance of drain pump, should be around 170 Ohm +-30 Ohm.
4. Clean pressure chamber and pressure tube.
Electrolux Dishwasher i30 Error – Leak Fault
Description:
Electrolux dishwasher i30 error is a leakage fault. This means the base of the dishwasher has filled up with enough water to set off the flood switch.
Unfortunately this fault could be caused by anything from a simple hole in a hose, torn door seal, water overflowing from the dishwasher or a crack in the sump.
Action To Take:
1. Check door seals for holes.
2. Check the hoses in the base of the dishwasher for holes and cracks.
Electrolux Dishwasher i50 Error – Wash Pump Triac Fault
Description:
Electrolux dishwasher i50 error is a control board fault and is related to the wash pump.
This fault appears when the main PCB is detecting that the wash pump is running when it should not be. This happens due to a stuck triac/relay on the main control board that runs the wash pump.
Action To Take:
1. Replace main PCB.
Electrolux Dishwasher i60 Error – Heating Fault
Description:
Electrolux dishwasher i60 error is a heating fault. This means the water in the dishwasher is not heating or the main PCB can not see any change in water temperature.
There are 3 things that are responsible for this fault, faulty wiring, heater, temperature sensor or the main PCB.
Action To Take:
1. Check wiring for broken wires or loose plugs.
2. Check resistance of heating element, it should be around 25 ohm.
3. Check resistance of temperature sensor. At 25ºC it should be around 4843 Ohm.
4. If all above parts check out ok, replace main PCB.
Electrolux Dishwasher i70 Error – Temperature Sensor Fault
Description:
Electrolux dishwasher i70 error is a temperature fault. This means the main PCB has detected a short or open circuit in the temperature sensor.
Action To Take:
1. Check wires from PCB to temperature sensor for continuity.
2. Check resistance of temperature sensor, at 25ºC it should be around 4843 Ohm.
Electrolux Dishwasher i80 Error – EEPROM Fault
Description:
Electrolux dishwasher i80 error is a EEPROM fault. This means the main PCB is having internal communication problems.
Action To Take:
1. Replace main PCB.
Electrolux Dishwasher i90 error – MCF/CCF Check Sum Fault
Description:
Electrolux dishwasher i90 error code is main PCB fault. This means the main PCB is having internal control problems.
Action To Take:
1. Replace main PCB.
Electrolux Dishwasher id0 Fault – Tacho Fault
Description:
Electrolux dishwasher id0 fault is a motor tacho fault. This means the main PCB is not receiving a reading from the wash pump tacho.
The dishwasher will continue washing with out heating the water.
Action To Take:
1. Check wiring from PCB to tacho.
2. Check resistance of motor tacho, should be around 210 Ohm.
Hope these Electrolux dishwasher fault codes were helpful with helping you at getting your dishwasher back in working order.
