ASKO dishwasher fault codes are bellow:
ASKO Dishwasher F2 and F10 Fault – Overfill Fault
Description:
The F2 and F10 faults indicates that the dishwasher has filled or has too much water in the sump.
Action To Take:
1. Check that the dishwasher is able to drain water and there is no blockages or foreign objects stuck in the pump.
2. Faulty inlet valve.
3. Dishwasher might have a leak.
4. Flow meter might be faulty.
ASKO Dishwasher F7 and ASKO dishwasher F11 Fault – Drain Fault
Description:
Faults F7 and F11 is a water outlet fault, meaning dishwasher is not able to drain the water. ASKO dishwasher F7 and ASKO dishwasher F11 are some of the most common error codes because dishwashers get blocked very easily.
Causes
1. Blocked filter, blockages in pump or drain hose.
2. Faulty drain pump, resistance should be around 148 ohm in 200-240V and 26 ohm in 120v pumps.
3. Faulty wiring or main PCB.
ASKO Dishwasher F4 and F12 Fault – Water Inlet Fault
Description:
F4 and F12 faults are water inlet faults, this means the dishwasher is having problems filling water into the dishwasher or the dishwasher is not able to detect that the water is actually been filled.
Action To Take:
If no water is entering the dishwasher :
1. Check that the tap is turned on and that the hose is not kinked and squished by the dishwasher.
2. Check screen mesh filet on the inlet hose and water inlet valve to make sure it is not blocked with sand.
3. Replace water inlet valve, resistance should be 3,9 kohm in 230v, 0.95 kohm in USA 120V.
If water is entering the dishwasher:
1. Check that the pressure chamber is not blocked.
2. Replace flow meter.
ASKO Dishwasher F40 Fault – Water Valve Leakage
Description:
Fault F40 indicates that the inlet valve has been letting water through when it should have been closed.
Action To Take:
1. Replace water inlet valve.
ASKO Dishwasher F41 Fault – Water Heating Fault
Description:
No temperature increase detected in 10 minutes during heating phase.
Action To Take:
1. Check wiring.
2. Check thermistor resistance, 60 kohm at 20C/68F.
3. Check heater resistance, 2040W 230V = 25 ohm, 1600W 230V = 32 ohm, USA 1200W 120V = 12 ohm.
ASKO Dishwasher F42 Fault – Thermistor Fault
Description:
Fault F42 means that the main PCB is not receiving a signal from the thermistor.
Action To Take:
1. Check wiring.
2. Check thermistor resistance, 60 kohm at 20C/68F.
ASKO Dishwasher F6 and F43 Fault – Pressure Sensor Fault
Description:
Faults F6 and F43 indicates to a failed pressure sensor.
Action To Take:
1. Check wiring.
2. Replace pressure sensor.
3. Replace main PCB.
ASKO Dishwasher F44 Fault – Turbidity Sensor Fault
Description:
Fault F44 indicates that the main PCB is not receiving a signal from turbidity sensor.
Action To Take:
1. Check wiring.
2. Replace turbidity sensor.
3. Replace main PCB.
ASKO Dishwasher F45 Fault – Diverter Valve Fault
Description:
Fault F45 indicates that the main PCB has detected that the diverter valve is not changing position.
Action To Take:
1. Check for foreign objects in diverter valve.
2. Check diverter valve motor resistance, 230V = 8.5 KOHM, 120V = 2.6 KOHM.
3. Replace PCB.
