Simpson Washing Machine E10 Error – Water Inlet Fault

Description:

Simpson washing machine E10 error indicates that the machine has not filled with water.

Action:

  1. Make sure the tap is turned on and hose is not kinked.
  2. Replace water inlet valves.

Simpson Washing Machine E11 Error – Water Inlet Fault

Description:

Simpson washing machine E11 error indicates that the machine has not filled with water. Same as E10 error but E11 is only visible in the diagnostics/service menu

Action:

  1. Make sure the tap is turned on and hose is not kinked.
  2. Replace water inlet valves.

Simpson Washing Machine E13 Error – Water Leak Fault

Description:

Simpson washing machine E13 error indicates that the water level sensor has noticed a drop in water level in the drum during washing. Same as E30 error but E11 is only visible in the diagnostics/service menu. Check out E30 error for more info.

Simpson Washing Machine E20 Error – Water Draining Fault

Description:

Simpson washing machine E20 error indicates that the machine has not drained the water. Kinked drain hose, blocked hose or pump or a broken pump cal cause the water not to drain. On some of the newer models the machine has actually drained all the water properly and Simpson washing machine E20 still appears, it might indicate a problem with the pressure sensor calibration. Enter the diagnostics mode and re-calibrate the pressure sensor.

Action:

  1. Inspect drain hose for kinks.
  2. Check drain pump for foreign objects.
  3. If no water in drum and E20 appears, on some models water level sensor needs recalibration.
  4. Replace drain pump.

Simpson Washing Machine E21 Error – Water Draining Fault

Description:

Simpson washing machine E21 error indicates that the machine has not drained the water. Same as E20 error but E21 is only visible in the diagnostics/service menu. Check out E30 error for more info.

Simpson Washing Machine E30 Error – Water Leak Fault

Description:

Simpson washing machine E30 error indicates that the water level sensor has noticed a drop in water level in the drum during washing. E30 error can be caused by leaking hose or a drain hose that is too low causing a natural syphoning of water from the drum. Sometimes a small hole in the pressure tube can cause a false leak error.

Action:

  1. Check for broken hoses.
  2. Check height of the drain hose.
  3. Check pressure tube for holes.

Simpson Washing Machine E31 Error – Pressure Sensor Fault

Description:

Simpson washing machine E31 error indicates that the main PCB is receiving a improbable reading from the pressure sensor. Mainly it’s a faulty pressure sensor that causes E31 error. But before replacing the sensor, inspect the wiring harness and connections. Unfortunately it is not possible to test the pressure sensor and if replacing it does not solve the E31 error, the main PCB will also need replacing.

Action:

  1. Inspect wiring harness/connectors.
  2. Replace pressure sensor.
  3. Replace main PCB.

Simpson Washing Machine E32 Error – Pressure Sensor Fault

Description:

Simpson washing machine E32 error indicates that the main PCB is not receiving a stable water level reading from the pressure sensor during draining. The signal constantly is jumping up and down. E32 error can be caused by a blocked pressure chamber, leaky inlet valve, faulty pressure sensor or a faulty PCB.

Action:

  1. Check inlet valve for leaks.
  2. Inspect wiring harness/connectors.
  3. Check pressure chamber/hose for blockages/holes.
  4. Replace pressure sensor.
  5. Replace main PCB.

Simpson Washing Machine E35 Error – Overfill Fault

Description:

Simpson washing machine E35 error indicates that the water level is much higher than the set water level.

Action:

  1. Check inlet valve for leaks.

Simpson Washing Machine E40 Error – Lid Lock Fault

Description:

Simpson washing machine E40 error indicates that the lid is not closed or the lock is not able to lock the lid.

Action:

  1. Close the lid.
  2. Check lock for obstructions that could cause the lid not to close/lock properly.

Simpson Washing Machine E41 Error – Lid Lock Fault

Description:

Simpson washing machine E41 error indicates that the lid unlocked during the cycle.

Action:

  1. Check wiring.
  2. Replace lid lock.
  3. Replace Main PCB.

Simpson Washing Machine E50 Error – Motor Fault

Description:

Simpson washing machine E50 error indicates that the machine is not able to run the motor. E50 error can be caused by a faulty motor or control module or something physically jamming the drum/agitator.

Action:

  1. Inspect drum/agitator for items that could cause jamming.
  2. Check wiring harness for bad/broken connections.
  3. Measure coil resistance on the motor.
  4. Replace main PCB.

Simpson Washing Machine E51 Error – Motor Fault

Description:

Simpson washing machine E51 error indicates that the main PCB is not receiving a signal from the motor.

Action:

  1. Inspect drum/agitator for items that could cause jamming.
  2. Check wiring harness/connectors.
  3. Replace main PCB.

Simpson Washing Machine E53 Error – Motor Triac Fault

Description:

Simpson washing machine E53 error indicates that the motor is running uncontrollably. This will be caused by a faulty main PCB.

Action:

  1. Replace main PCB.

Simpson Washing Machine E83 Error – Cycle Selector Fault

Description:

Simpson washing machine E83 error indicates that the cycle selector dial is sending a corrupt signal to main PCB.

Action:

  1. Replace main PCB.

Simpson Washing Machine E86 Error – Cycle Selector Fault

Description:

Simpson washing machine E86 error indicates that the user interface is not communicating correctly with the main PCB.

Action:

  1. Replace main PCB.
  2. Replace User Interface.

Simpson Washing Machine EFO Error – Out if Balance Fault

Description:

Simpson washing machine EFO error indicates that the machine has gone out of balance. EFO error can be caused by tangled clothes that bunched up to one side. Too much detergent can cause excessive foaming and create excessive resistance on the drum during fast spin. Or the suspension

Action:

  1. Make sure the tap is turned on and hose is not kinked.
